Booking a professional deep cleaning service is one of the best ways to restore freshness, hygiene, and sparkle to your residential or commercial property. But to get the maximum benefit from your cleaners’ time and expertise, a little preparation goes a long way. At Spotless Toronto, we want to ensure your cleaning session runs smoothly from start to finish.
While our professional team handles intensive tasks like scrubbing grout, disinfecting high-touch areas, and polishing surfaces, clearing away personal clutter beforehand allows our cleaners to focus 100% on actual deep cleaning rather than tidying up.
Read on to discover our step-by-step checklist on how to prepare your home or office for a deep clean, what to expect on cleaning day, and how to book your next service with Spotless Toronto.
Follow these simple preparation steps before our cleaning team arrives to ensure a fast, efficient, and exceptionally thorough clean:
Clear floors, countertops, desks, and tables of loose items, clothing, toys, and paperwork so cleaners can access all surfaces.
Ensure our team can safely enter your property and keep your pets comfortable in a secure area during the cleaning process.
Let us know about delicate surfaces, restricted rooms, or specific areas requiring extra attention before cleaning begins.
Understanding what our team focuses on helps you prioritize your preparation efforts.
We scrub shower tiles, disinfect baseboards, clean kitchen appliance exteriors (and interiors if requested), dust ceiling fans, wipe doors and frames, and sanitize washrooms thoroughly.
Picking up laundry, sorting mail, putting away valuable jewelry, washing dishes in the sink, and clearing floor clutter ensures our cleaners can jump straight into deep sanitation work.
We clean backsplashes, counter grout, range hoods, microwaves, and cabinet exteriors, removing baked-on grease and stubborn food buildup.
We target hard water stains, mildew, soap scum on glass doors, and sanitize sinks, toilets, tubs, and bathroom fixtures.
We clean vertical blinds, air vents, door frames, light switches, baseboards, and hard-to-reach corners throughout the property.
We thoroughly vacuum carpets, rugs, and mop hard flooring surfaces across all scheduled rooms and hallways.
